Team History (03/08/07)
The current team was founded in the 2002/03 season as an U6 team and played in the Stevenage Mini Soccer League (SMSL). The present manager, Ken Marshall, took charge of the team as U7s (2003/04), and in his first season they won a local tournament, the Doug Atkins Memorial Trophy. Success continued the following season (2004/05 U8) with the team winning the SMSL League Cup, the Doug Atkins Trophy and picking up the SMSLs Sporting Mark Award.
In the 2005/06 season the boys took on the stiffer challenge of the Royston Crow U9 Mini Soccer South Division. Through the years the numbers swelled to enable both an A and a B team to be fielded during this season.
For the 2006/07 (U10) an A and a B Team were entered into the Royston Crow Mini Soccer League division 10C and 10D respectively, this was the first time the teams were entered into a league. Both teams performed well with the B team showing significant improvement aided by the inclusion of some new signings. The A team finished solidly in 7th position with the B team notching an impressive 5th spot. The teams stats for this season are:
A Team - P20, W7, D5, L8, GD -6 PTS 26 B Team - P20 W9, D3, L8, GD-1 PTS 30
