Broadhall Youth
U10 Blues 0

Another fine performance from the Blues today, and with a bit of extra
luck they could have chalked up another win this season. With Calum
missing the Blues started brightly and created a couple of good chances
with Calvin and Jack both going close. At the back Joshua, Sam and Miles
all continued where they left off from last week's performance
restricting Broadhall's attacking chances. Broadhall did get the ball in
the goal, but their attacker was adjudged to have kick the ball out of
Joshua's hands. In the midfield Ryan had a great game supporting both
the attackers and defenders, and Luke's passing from the right wing
almost unlocked the opposition's defence on a number of occasions. In
the second quarter Broadhall started to dominate and were rewarded with
a goal from a good passing move and low finish. However all the boys
continue to press and again were unlucky not to equalise with Harrison
and Calvin again going close. The team had their usual third quarter
lull and again Broadhall took advantage with another well worked goal.
Unfortunately the Blues found it difficult to create any chances,
however the fourth quarter was a completely different story with the
Blues pounding the Broadhall goal. Eden again had a fine game at the
back, and only two good penalty saves from the Broadhall goalkeeper kept
them in front. The boys should continue to be pleased with their
continuing improvements and without doubt the goals will start to come.
Ryan was awarded the Player of the Match for a tireless performance
covering every blade of grass on the pitch. COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!
